I’m unsure if I should purchase the Advantage II (i.e., Multi) for either a large (9+ lbs.) or a small (5-9 lbs.) cat. In less than a month, my cat’s weight can shift from 8.5 lbs. to 10.6 lbs. or vice versa. Owing to the latter situation with his weight, which of the Advantage II products would be best to apply on my cat?

This is a tricky situation. I would get the product that corresponds to your cat’s weight at the time of initial treatment. If you are worried about under-dosing or over-dosing as the months pass and the cat’s weight changes, it may be a good idea to consult your vet. I can’t legally off advice that may deviate from product label instructions.
