what is this?

Our dogs have a few fleas but the issue is mostly contained. However,  I found this on an opened Cheerio cereal bag in our pantry. The dogs room is right by pantry. Forgive my ignorance but at first glance this looks like a small Flea stuck in some egg-looking thing. Can someone identify what I’m looking at??
