Kill Fleas on Cats
Adult fleas live on cats and rarely leave for any reason. They are classified as permanent ectoparasites. Cat fleas must take frequent blood meals from their host to survive and reproduce.
Effective cat flea sprays contain adulticides and insect growth regulators (IGR). The adulticide (etofenprox and pyrethrins) will kill fleas on the cat. The IGR (methoprene) will prevent eggs and larvae from developing to sexual maturity.
