Kill Fleas on Dogs
Adult fleas are permanent ectoparasites, rarely leaving of their own volition. After acquiring a host, fleas typically remain there until they die or are dislodged through grooming.
Effective dog flea sprays contain adulticides and insect growth regulators (IGR). The adulticide (etofenprox and pyrethrins) will kill fleas on the dog. The IGR (methoprene) will cause eggs to become non-viable and will prevent larval development.
