On tile and hardwood, fleas develop in cracks in the flooring, crevices around baseboards, and other dark areas where debris collects. Instead of a fogger, it can be more effective to use a spray that you can direct specifically into these areas. Check out our page on flea sprays. It’s also helpful to vacuum these areas with nozzle attachments. Steam cleanings may also be a good idea, but it will reduce the efficacy of any insecticides you applied.
