So I noticed the new Advantage ll now has the (on the front label) kills fleas flea larvae flea eggs and now lice. So my question is, because I have 3 cats and a dog, can I still treat the cats with the new Advantage ll for extra large dogs but give the correct cat dosage? I have done it for years with advantage,  But with the addition of being able to kill lice, is it still the same as the Advantage. In. I hope I am explaining myself.

I can’t offer any advice regarding off-label insecticide use (which using dog products on a cat would be). It is against federal law.

That said, it looks like it is still the same product. The active ingredients are still the same: imidacloprid and pyriproxyfen.
