If my dog has been treated and I now have fleas in the house, how long will it take for them to die? The house has been treated twice and kept so clean and I still keep seeing the occasional flea.

What you are experiencing is normal. It usually takes around 8 weeks after treatment before the fleas are completely gone. 95-99% of fleas are eggs, larvae, and pupae living in the environment. Most live deep within carpets. As a result, many will avoid insecticide treatments and vacuum removal. It will take a bit of time for these stages to all mature, emerge, and die.
