I have fleas in my hair, this started three months ago, I know I was told by my dermatologist that fleas do not stay in human hair.
I have samples of what is still in my hair, and it is fleas or some other parasite. This is after I was prescribed permethrin cream 5%, and took ivermectin 3% tablets, used the cream once a week for four weeks, used it in my hair and from head to toe, Took 5 of the tablets the first week and waited a week to take the other five. I finished all of this as of Saturday, May 14.
And when I wash my hair, live (I say fleas) are visible in the bathtub, I am also concerned because right after I wash my hair, more start crawling. I have proof that this is happening, I have saved the (fleas) parasites to prove that I am not nuts. I have read that when people talk about this to their Dr. they are referred to a mental health doctor. Would really like to find out what I can do about this problem.
Maybe I could send a sample to you to look at, anything I can do!
Thank you for taking the time to consider this.

Hello Deanna,
Fleas don’t live in human hair. This isn’t an issue I can solve for you.
Your best bet is to go to the doctor with live specimens you found in your hair. This shouldn’t be difficult if you can see them crawling in your hair and they are visible in the bathtub after showering.
