Its saturday night. 8.10.19. Last week or so. My gf bought hartz flea treatment i believe for my dog. After using, i could still see fleas on him. But not sure if there jumping off him cause of treatment. came home today and had fleas in house. Mostly in master bedroom. we went to walmart and got 4 bombs. After bombing. im still seeing fleas jumping around on me and the gf. Not really seeing any on the dog My gf is saying that it can take upto 24hrs after the bombing to kill the fleas. Is that true? If not, what else can we do? Im an over the road truck driver and im leaving home monday morning and she will be home with the dog. Please help….! Thank you in advanc .

Flea infestations consist of 95-99% eggs, larvae, and pupae living in the environment. They live in protected micro-habitats. It will take around 8 weeks for fleas to completely go away, even with all the proper control measures in place. The immature stages need to mature into adults, emerge, and die. Until then, you will see new adults emerging from the environment.
