The active ingredients in Seresto collars are imidacloprid and flumethrin. Both ingredients have been around for decades and have a long track record of success and safety. You can research these ingredients independently for more information. We have a page on imidacloprid with safety information at the bottom.

There has also been research done specifically on the safety of Seresto collars. I haven’t dug too far into this yet. But you can find quite a few studies on Google Scholar.
